Bursar / Chief Operating Officer
The High School of Dundee is a co-educational Independent Day School for children aged 3 to 18 years, located right in the heart of Dundee. The School offers an Integrated Curriculum, providing a coordinated, genuine all-round education with the pupil at heart. The School has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bursar / Chief Operating Officer to join the enthusiastic Senior Leadership Team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the finance, property, human resources, external relations, IT, and administrative staff of the School.
They will play a key role in the leadership and management of the school and the post-holder is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team.
They will work with the Board of Directors, the Rector and Senior Leadership Team to support the development and implementation of the School’s strategy.
The Bursar/ Chief Operating Officer is also Clerk to the Board and a Director and Secretary of the School’s trading company, Euclid Trading Ltd. In these capacities, the Bursar/ Chief Operating Officer also attends meetings of the Trustees of the High School of Dundee Foundation and the High School of Dundee Scholarship Fund.
