Girls into Energy Instructor (Ref. A906)
Based at Fraserburgh Campus - Working at various locations in Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire
Full Time/Permanent 
Salary:  £28,392.79 - £32,476.26 per annum

NESCol’s Business & Community Development Team is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to deliver its Sponsored Initiatives programmes across the Region. 

The successful candidate will inspire S3-S6 pupils to consider careers in the energy sector through the delivery of ‘Girls in Energy’ National 5 qualifications and associated activities. 

You should be educated to HNC level or have relevant experience in an Engineering discipline preferably with experience of working with young adult learners.  It is desirable that successful candidates hold a recognised Assessor Qualification (A1, D32 or equivalent) and must have a driving license with the ability and means to travel to locations in Aberdeen or Aberdeenshire. 

Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with excellent organisational skills are essential for this post.

  1. Educated to HNC/D level or equivalent (SCQF Level 7/8) or equivalent experience in the relevant subject area

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  1. Up to date vocational experience in the relevant area.
  2. Experience as a trainer or experience of training staff in the relevant area
  3. Up to date industry knowledge in the relevant area
  4. Knowledge of the type of programmes available in further education
  5. Knowledge of a range of assessment methods.
