We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to join our Electrical/Electronic Engineering team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be fully qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a degree or HND with a background in Electrical/Electronic Engineering installation or service or equivalent qualification in the subject area.

You will have excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to engage with learners that results in motivating them to succeed. If you are a highly effective team player with relevant industry experience who actively supports colleagues and have the ability to build and maintain effective teacher/learner relationships with students we want you to come and join our team.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  1. Working knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Engineering Systems
  2. Good communication skills
  3. Good presentation skills
  4. Good interpersonal skills
  5. Good organisational skills
  6. Ability to develop and use appropriate learning/teaching/training materials
  7. * Knowledge and/or experience of the use of online learning materials

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Degree, HND or equivalent qualification (SCQF Level 9) in relevant professional qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  2. Up to date experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  3. * Teaching or training experience
  4. * Teaching qualification (TQFE or equivalent)
  5. * Assessment experience
  6. * Assessment qualification
  7. * ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
  8. * GTCS registration
