We are looking to recruit a dynamic individual to join our Sports team on a permanent basis.

Are you an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with experience in the area of Sport, Sport Science, Coaching and Exercise & Fitness? Do you have a degree (or equivalent qualification) in the relevant subject area together with an ability to apply the academic principles contained therein?

Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are key aspects of the role. Candidates should also have strong communication skills and have the ability to meet deadlines.

If you have what it takes to inspire our students across a range of courses from SCQF Level 3 to SCQF Level 8, we would like to hear from you!

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  1. Working knowledge of Sport, Sport Science, Coaching and/or Exercise & Fitness
  2. Good communication skills
  3. Good presentation skills
  4. Good interpersonal skills
  5. Good organisational skills
  6. Ability to develop and use appropriate learning/teaching/training materials
  7. * Knowledge and/or experience of the use of online learning materials

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Degree or equivalent qualification (SCQF Level 9) in relevant professional qualification in Sport, Sport Science, Coaching and/or Exercise & Fitness
  2. Up to date experience in Sport, Sport Science, Coaching and/or Exercise & Fitness
  3. * Teaching or training experience
  4. * Teaching qualification (TQFE or equivalent)
  5. * Assessment experience
  6. * Assessment qualification
  7. * ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence)
  8. * GTCS registration
