With around 600 academic staff and 900 professional and support staff, there’s something for everyone here at RGU.

Our teaching staff have an outstanding reputation for quality and academic research and our track record in graduate employment is the best in Scotland. Our mission is to transform people and communities by providing demand-led teaching and research to contribute to economic, social and cultural development regionally, nationally and internationally. We’re investing in globally impactful research in strategic areas including sustainable transport, built environment visualisation, industrial biotechnology, smart data, artificial intelligence and pharmacy practice.

We have support teams in Finance, IT, Marketing and HR as well as a large contingent of administrators across our 11 schools. With a multi-million pound investment in one of the most beautiful riverside campuses in Europe you’ll find roles in project management, facilities development and campus maintenance. We’re responsible for ensuring that our student community make the most of their time at University by providing the right facilities and support. You could make a real difference to our student experience by providing professional advice/counselling on anything from careers to accommodation, transport, visas or finance. Many facilities are open from early morning to late evening, so you’ll also find a selection of roles with flexible shifts such as receptionists, library assistants, janitors and cleaners.
