Teacher of Music, Junior School, Full time/Part time

Maternity cover from April 2020.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part- time or full-time Music Teacher with an outstanding ability in music to join our Junior School as maternity cover from April 2020. In this post, you will be working with highly motivated and talented pupils enhancing their knowledge and passion for music. Two new well equipped Music Rooms are situated in the Junior School.


The successful candidate should have a sound knowledge of the Expressive Arts Curriculum (Music) and an appropriate Music Qualification. They should be a proficient piano player (at grade 5 level or above). Experience of teaching Primary Music and the ability to organise and prepare pupils for public performances is essential.

Music is offered as a core subject to all our Nursery and Primary age pupils on a weekly basis. You will also support and contribute to the wide and varied extra-curricular Performing Arts Programme at Robert Gordon's College.
