About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a capable candidate to join a small team, working for a highly-professional organisation, and secure income for projects that can have an international impact. You will work on your own initiative and will also be seeking ways to add new donors across a range of areas from corporate to major donor.

Experience/Qualifications/Key Skills

Possessing excellent organisational, written and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the principles of fundraising and prospect research. You will be database literate, i.e. understand the process of data management, and be able to enter information accurately, retrieve the information and present it in various formats. You will have experience of securing significant donations from a range of sources.

You will be able to demonstrate significant experience of working at a similar level, and on your own initiative to high standards, and be well motivated to meet objectives and achieve results. You should be educated to degree level or similar.

The post requires knowledge of standard Microsoft systems (Outlook email, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience of working in a medical research educational institution would be advantageous, as well as knowledge of related database systems.
