Outreach Learning Support Assistant

At Sight Scotland, we are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and creative person to join our team of Learning Support Assistants to specifically work in our Outreach provision.

You will support our team of Outreach Teachers in the delivery of learning to pupils in local authority schools who have a range of visual impairments and additional support needs.

Applicants should have a PDA qualification or equivalent, a qualification in Contracted Unified English Braille and have experience of working with children with additional support needs in a classroom environment.

The post is subject to PVG Scheme Record/Update for regulated work with vulnerable children and young adults.
