As a member of the Facilities team you will be responsible to the Head of Facilities for the provision of a dedicated health and safety service.

Your main duties will include ensuring that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated; ensuring that safety inspections are carried out and providing regular reports to the Head of Facilities on relevant health and safety activities.

The successful applicant must have NEBOSH certificate accreditation, the NEBOSH Environmental Certificate and be COSHH trained. You will have relevant experience in a similar role and knowledge of health and safety legislation.

The new PVG scheme replaces enhanced disclosures when undertaking work with Children or Vulnerable Adults. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
