Temporary, Part-Time

£34,109 - £38,981 per annum, pro rata

We are seeking to expand our register of part-time, temporary Lecturers in Counselling.

Working as a member of a committed and dynamic team, you must have sound practical work experience in an appropriate setting and be highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

With the COSCA or BCAP certification at SCQF Level 9 or above or an equivalent level of qualification in an appropriate field, you may additionally hold appropriate Assessor and Verifier qualifications. You will also have experience of delivering Counselling course/units in an FE environment.

Salary placing on the above salary scale will be dependent on previous experience and qualifications.

The new PVG scheme replaces enhanced disclosures when undertaking work with Children or Vulnerable Adults. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by South Lanarkshire College.
