A position has arisen for a qualified early years practitioner to work within our growing team.

If successful you will be required to work as part of the early years team to deliver a high quality and inclusive early learning and childcare service which meets the needs of children aged 2-5. You will be expected to observe and interact with children in order to support their learning and early development. This understanding will aid in planning their individual progress in accordance with our policies and procedures.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has proven experience in this field and is able to work as part of a team. As you will be part of a small team we are looking for someone flexible in their approach and capable of working using their own initiative. You will be actively involved in planning and the implementation of the Curriculum for Excellence and Realising the Ambition in order to meet the needs of children in accordance with national and local standards. Communication is a key skill as we work collaboratively with parents, carers, outside agencies and the local authority to promote the welfare and development of every child.

Ideally we are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar position, that has achieved an SVQ Level 3 Social Services (Children and Young People) or HNC Childhood Practice or equivalent qualification. Evidence of continuing professional development is desirable and willingness to undertake mandatory training is essential.
