We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Textiles Technician to join our Centre for Island Creativity, working closely with our Creative and Cultural Industries Section.
This is a varied role, that will utilise your client facing skills and experience to provide technical support to academic staff in the delivery of educational programmes in textiles. You will also be expected to provide technical support for students studying textiles on National Certificate, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
We are looking for someone able to provide a full-service knitwear programming and prototyping service for digital knitting machines to commercial customers and we need someone with a demonstrable understanding of garment construction and terminology.
