We are currently recruiting two new voluntary Board Members to take up appointment from March 2023. Our Board includes members with a range of skills and expertise in the public, private and voluntary sectors as well as elected student and staff representatives.
To complement and extend the skills matrix of the current Board, we are particularly keen to recruit new Board Members with expertise in finance, the university sector and the voluntary sector. We also want to increase board diversity by attracting new members from across diverse communities.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of eighteen, working together to ensure that West Lothian College delivers the best learning experience for the growing number of young people and adult learners in the region.
You may never have considered a board position before, but your experience may be invaluable. Public sector boards are keen to increase the diversity of their non-executive directors and this may be a great opportunity for you.
