Salary: £17,912 - £18,392 per annum (£9.84 - £10.11 per hour)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP (Fixed Term for 12 months)

Funding for the post is for 16 – 24 years only (or up to 29 if either care experienced or have a disability

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work as key member of the Enquiries and Admissions team providing efficient and effective comprehensive administrative support for the recruitment life-cycle of students whilst being further developed and supported through study of a relevant SVQ (Business Administration, SCQF Level 6).

 

This role will ideally suit a proactive, organised and enthusiastic individual whose duties will be to undertake a broad range of administration tasks to provide front-line services to students from enquiry to application to enrolment, duties include assisting students with the enrolment process, signposting students to external partners such as Skills Development Scotland (SDS), providing support to access funding options such as SAAS.  Liaising with academic faculty staff to arrange level testing, diagnostic testing, recording results and updating student applications as necessary. 

 

You will also be responsible for providing IT support to assist enrolling students.  You will provide consistent, high quality customer service to both students and cross college staff.

 

It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills, can work under pressure and have an appreciation of the importance of attention to detail and confidentiality.  You will have a good working knowledge of using Microsoft Office applications.  Experience of working with computerised information systems would be advantageous.

 

As part of this 12 month Fixed Term post you will undertake a relevant SVQ (Business Administration, SCQF Level 6).

 

You will be educated to SCQF Level 5 (National 5/Credit Standard Grade) or equivalent.
