Can you bring learning to life? This is an exciting opportunity to work as key member of the college’s new Learning Centre supporting the enhancement of learning, teaching, assessment and staff knowledge transfer through the innovative use of technology.

This role will ideally suit a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about the role of technology in improving learning. You will work closely with all faculty areas across the college, developing and supporting curriculum enhancement.

You will assist our teaching teams to create and update engaging learning content on the college’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) platform Moodle, and also for use in Microsoft Teams. You will contribute to supporting staff in the effective use of technology to enhance learning, teaching and staff development. In line with the college’s value of ‘always striving for better’, you will also research new developments and opportunities to support the enhanced use of technology in learning, teaching and assessment and help enthuse our staff team about these developments.

You will have significant experience working in a creative or learning role involving communication, multimedia and/or technology.  You should be qualified to HND (SCQF Level 8) or equivalent in a related subject. Good working knowledge of Moodle, TurnItIn, Articulate and Adobe creative packages is desirable.

You will possess excellent problem-solving skills and strong abilities to apply creative approaches to designing learning materials, working in a proactive manner.

Working for the college you will benefit from a generous leave entitlement, career average pension scheme, excellent on-site facilities such as gym and restaurant, together with transport, health, wellbeing benefits and retail discounts. The college is located within the town centre with an array of shops and restaurants all within a few minutes walking distance.
