Platinum Salon Assistant

Job Description

Hours: 18 hours per week (see below for shifts)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Fixed term to 25/06/2023

Salary: Grade 3 Points 11 to 18

£22,839 to £26,283 per annum pro rata (subject to pending job evaluation)

West Lothian College are looking to recruit a professional, self-motivated and friendly Platinum Assistant who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to the faculty of Business, Creative & Enterprise. You will be working with our Platinum Salon which is the college’s commercial salon. You will be focused on delivering an excellent customer experience to all who use our salon including students, lecturers and members of the public.  

Shifts will be:

Monday 10:30-5:00pm

Tuesday 2:30-9:00pm

Thursday 8:00-2:30pm 

You will have customer service experience working within the hair and beauty industry as well as being well organise and able to work well as part of a team.
