West Lothian College are looking to appoint an outstanding lecturer who will demonstrate the necessary commitment and enthusiasm to contribute to their team. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Business and Creative Centre, you will be committed to the delivery of high quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability.
Due to an expansion in our curriculum, applications are invited for the position of temporary lecturer for ILM 2 (ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills) and ILM 3 Award (ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management) and ILM 3 Certificate (ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership & Management).
Part Time Temporary Lecturer BusinessILM 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills - Wednesday Evenings (6pm to 9pm)You will be educated to SCQF level 9 or equivalent. This position will involve delivery and assessment of agreed ILM units. Evening work only. Minimum 3 Hours per week for 20 weeks.
Part time Temporary Lecturer BusinessILM 3 Award in Leadership and Management followed byILM 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management – Thursday Evenings (6pm to 9pm)You will be educated to SCQF level 9 or equivalent. This position will involve delivery and assessment of agreed ILM units. Evening work only. Minimum 3 Hours per week for 20 weeks.
Experience of delivery of management and leadership courses or other teaching and a recognised qualification in further education are desirable; however exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for student learning are essential. Candidates must have a willingness to develop new skills outside their own areas of expertise. Evening work is essential.
Salary on appointment will be dependent upon experience. Candidates with limited/no lecturing experience will be placed on the first point of the scale.
