ABOUT THE JOB
To be responsible for the implementation and support of communications infrastructure.
To ensure communications infrastructure supports the needs of the SPSA, Police Forces and external partners.
Provide a comprehensive communication system support service on a 24/7 continual basis.
ABOUT YOU
You will be educated to HNC level in a relevant computing or technical discipline. Or, you will possess an equivalent professional industry qualification in a related technical discipline. Or, you will possess a combination of technical qualifications and relevant experience.
You will have an experienced level of skills around:
- Team-working
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Working on customer sites
- Crafting and delivering communication messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
You will be self-motivated, discrete and confident.
You will have the ability to use your own initiative and deal with a varied programme of work; the ability to handle tight and multiple deadlines; and strong analytical skills.
You will have significant experience of delivering and supporting technical communication systems along with knowledge of ICT technologies and current health & safety practices.
You will have proven experience in a technical role related to the design, development and the maintenance of ICT communications services.
This full time role is permanent and requires Security Clearance vetting. You will work Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00.
