Corporate Procurement Specialist

This opportunity is to join one of Scotland’s largest public sector organisations Corporate Procurement departments as we undergo our transformation programme to rejuvenate our procurement service to deliver procurement excellence whilst collaborating with our key stakeholders to achieve our organisational goals. The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing SPA/Police Scotland with efficient and effective provision of procurement services in line with overall organisational goals and relevant legislation and directives.

Applicants must be educated to degree level with MCIPS (or equivalent), or with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a procurement role and can demonstrate success in dealing with complex, high value procurements with a track record of driving efficiency savings. You must be computer literate and be able to assess priorities and adapt to fluctuating workloads and have strong interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.

This full time post is permanent and requires standard recruitment vetting.
