Cyber Security & Assurance Manager

In this role you will be a key contributor to ensuring Police Scotland ICT systems remain cyber resilient. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactive monitoring of the ICT estate identifying cyber related vulnerabilities, threats and incidents. You will use a range of security tools to detect and respond to security events, provide mitigation and recommendations in line with cyber security standards and best practice.

You will work in many key areas including; Proactive Monitoring, Incident Detection and Response, Intel Assessment, Threat Hunting, Security Breach Prevention, Vulnerability Mitigation, Benchmarking Systems, Security Reporting and Remediation Advice.

This full time post is permanent and requires Security Clearance and Management Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
