ABOUT THE JOB
This is a pivotal senior role providing leadership and strategic direction to drive the continuous development, improvement and delivery of Estates Services which align with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
The role will lead on the implementation and delivery of a robust health, safety and compliance framework and ensure alignment with national Health and Safety legislation as well as, internal policies and procedures.
In addition, the role is responsible for ensuring the Estates elements of the Environmental and Sustainability Plan fully encompass the needs of the business and are aligned with business objectives and the long-term Policing Strategy.
This role also leads on the successful design, development and delivery of performance management procedures and intelligence data analysis to inform strategic decision making, investment, and future planning on a national scale.
ABOUT YOU
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with significant experience at a senior management/leadership level within a relevant field and have relevant professional qualifications or in the absence of formal professional qualifications, you will have relevant and extensive work experience is required in order to support familiarisation and on the job training for the role.
You will have significant senior leadership experience in an estates/property-related discipline within a service-focused environment of a similar size and scale and have held significant budget responsibility (£50M) and successfully operated within budget at all times.
You will have a proven track record of excellent stakeholder engagement/ management, communication, and solutions delivery and show evidence of effective partnership working and achieving consensus with a range of diverse stakeholders.
You will have in-depth knowledge of property/workplace best practice.
This post is Flexible
This full time post is permanent and will require Management Level Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 0900 – 1700.
