ABOUT THE JOB
To maintain the Police College grounds to a high standard, suitable for police officer training and recreational purposes and beneficial to the holding of internal and external conferences and high profile events.
ABOUT YOU
You will be educated to Standard Grades level or equivalent or have relevant experience.
Experience of estates maintenance (including road maintenance, hard and soft landscaping, plant propagation).
Knowledge of tractor mounted machinery/power tools and basic machine maintenance (e.g. PA2 crop sprayer for tractor mounted sprayers).
Knowledge of relevant H&S legislation and requirements (including COSHH risk assessments). Relevant qualifications (including pesticides/herbicide (PA1, PA6, PA2), chainsaw competency certificates, MEWP - operation of mobile elevated platforms, etc.).
This full time post is permanent, based at Tulliallan, and will require Standard Recruitment Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 0900 – 1700.
