ABOUT THE JOB

To organise, co-ordinate and assist in the running of a professional, ICT support team contributing to a high level of service and the tasking of incident response and requests for service, by triaging all requests for work and assigning based on a skills matrix, knowledge and experience.

To work closely with the Operations Team Leaders, engineers and wider CTO team, to focus on the ongoing improvement of service and management of the ICT estate by auditing and reviewing work requests to ensure timely response and resolution in line with SLAs and to ensure adequate customer updates.

Contribute to both new, and improve existing processes and procedures that underpin the approach to the operational support of the Police Scotland desktop estate, systems and infrastructure.

The base location for this role is flexible across Scotland.

ABOUT YOU

You will be educated to a minimum of HNC (or equivalent). Or, have experience working within either an ICT, co-ordination focused or scheduling driven environment.

You will have excellent communication skills; the ability to organise team workloads, multi task and prioritise works to meet deadlines; and to work under pressure.

You will champion a customer centric approach to service delivery; displays motivation, commitment and integrity and acts in an ethical way; be keen to learn and responsive to change; and be accurate and precise in work.

You will have the ability to work to tight and multiple deadlines; the ability to use own initiative and deal with a varied programme of work; and be self-motivated, discreet and confident.

This full time post is permanent and will require Standard Recruitment Vetting. You will work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00.
