ABOUT THE JOB

You will be responsible for the management and governance of all National Service Delivery documents for Police Scotland. Ensuring that auditable and legislatively compliant corporate governance rules are applied to the National Service Delivery Record Set (Policies, Strategies, Standard Operating Procedures, Guidance documents, Forms, EQHRIA’s) and any other documents that fall to Policy Support to co-ordinate.


You will manage and develop engagement with key stakeholders, consultees and staff in relation to all National Service Delivery documents.


You will be responsible for the EqHRIA Quality assessment process for all National Service Delivery documents ensuring compliance with Equalities and Human Rights legislation.


You will also promote a positive culture of governance providing training and guidance within Police Scotland.


ABOUT YOU

You will be educated to Degree level or equivalent OR have extensive experience in Policy governance in a large organisation.


You will have the ability to chair meetings, deliver presentations, and facilitate workshops and training sessions. Be able to question and critically challenge current working practices, with a view to persuading and influencing in areas identified for improvement. Possess the ability to work on own initiative, setting and meeting priorities and work under pressure and work to deadlines.


This full time post is permanent and is subject to Management Vetting checks.


You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. This role is flexible throughout Scotland.
