ABOUT THE JOB
Assist in providing a professional service across a range of category areas (goods, services, and works). Supporting the Procurement Improvement Lead in the delivery of the plan to ensure procurement delivers Best Value through the implementation of best practice across the service.
ABOUT YOU
You will be educated to SQA Higher Level (or equivalent). Or, you will have relevant experience.
You will have proven experience of effective performance providing support to an organisation’s management team with an understanding of office processes and procedures.
You will be Computer literate on Microsoft packages specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You will have effective interpersonal skills; attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and an interest in learning and development.
You will have the ability to prioritise work; work to timescales; work with limited supervision; and work effectively as part of a team.
You will be numerate; able to update and maintain records systems, including databases; and able to interpret guidelines.
This full time post is permanent and requires Management level Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
