ABOUT THE JOB

To provide 1st line technical and system support as part of providing an excellent customer service to all users across Scotland included within SPSA.


To be involved in all aspects in the Operation of the ICT Service Desk.


To provide professional advice, problem solving and fault resolution in accordance with the Business Requirement.


To help in maintain service continuity over a 24 hour period.

•One of 28 staff across 2 physical site in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

•Provide 24/7 365 cover for first line ICT support throughout Scotland.


Support overall operations for service continuity.


ABOUT YOU

You will be educated to HNC level.


You will have excellent communications skills and the ability to function as part of a team or on your own.


You will have knowledge of Microsoft office software packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.


You will have experience of liaising with internal and external suppliers and knowledge of ITIL best practices.


This full time post is permanent and will require Management Level Vetting. You will work 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 0900 – 1700.
