The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for the post of Soft FM Services Regional Coordinator based at SFRS North Headquarters Dyce AB21.

 

This is a full -time post however applications from individuals seeking to work on a part time, job share or flexible working basis would be considered.

 

The Soft Facilities Management (FM) Services Manager will be responsible for managing the provision of all soft services across the estate through a team of Regional Soft FM Co-ordinators, this will involve auditing and reporting upon performance and driving improvement and efficiencies of all externally procured soft FM service.  They will be responsible for ensuring that standards are developed and maintained in the delivery of all Soft FM provisions within corporate facilities located across the country, over a range of activities including, but not limited to, the maintenance of property and grounds, statutory compliance, servicing of plant and equipment, catering provision, helpdesk, security, caretaking, cleaning, energy, waste & environmental management and health & safety. In addition, the role will entail the development and management of space planning exercises and project management of adaptation and small works projects within the corporate estate.

 

To be considered for this role the candidate must meet the following essential criteria.

 

A working knowledge of current best practice in relation to soft FM service provision and quality standards.
Demonstrable knowledge of all relevant legislation and best practice in relation to operation and use of buildings, the environment, health and safety and CDM.

 

Applicants will require a driving licence.
