VACANCY – TENURE SUSTAINMENT OFFICER

Salary: £11.62/HR FOR 30 - 35 HRS/WK (£18,176 - £21,205 p.a.)

You will provide a Tenure Sustainment Service to Service Users within South Ayrshire to assist in the prevention of homelessness and alleviation of poverty. Assist the Centre in achieving its main aims and objectives and work as part of a team. Provide HEY lessons within Secondary Schools as and when required.

Provide crisis intervention support where the service user is unable to link with any other support services and cannot carry out tasks themselves without support. You will provide practical assistance which may require writing, calling or visiting others on his/her behalf, liaising and mediating between Council, DWP, Landlord and other Agencies. Advise and support with budgeting and housekeeping.

You will have a comprehensive understanding of Benefits, income maximisation and grant to relieve poverty. You will help providing the Centre’s HEY project in Schools as and when required. Use of a car and driving licence is essential.
