Look no further! Barnardo's Child and Family Support Service are on the lookout for flexible and enthusiastic people as Assistant Project Workers (as & when) to join their team. We have a number of work opportunities for applicants based in Dundee and also within Perth & Kinross. 

As an Assistant Project Workers you will experience job satisfaction and will play a part in making a difference in the lives of the individuals we support every day helping them to reach their goals and play an active role in their local communities through evening and weekend support.

This is a really varied role providing supports for children, young people with a disability/additional support need and their families and those who have experienced adverse childhood experiences. The support you provide will enable and support children and young people to access their local community activities offering new experiences for them and respite to their parents/carers. The role may include supervisory responsibilities of volunteers.

For these vacancies it's essential that the successful candidates holds a full driving license and use of a vehicle to allow for access to a variety of activities within the local community.

relevant qualification is required, for example SVQ3/ SCQF level 6 or equivalent in a relevant subject. The role will require registration with the Scottish Social Service Council within six months of commencement of employment.

As we're dedicated to providing support tailored to the needs of each individual, Assistant Project Workers will be contracted to have a flexible approach at the times children and families most need support. This will primarily include evenings and weekends and during school holidays.
