Barnardo's Youth Involvement and Family Support Project have been operational since 2003. Since its inception as a youth work programme with the aim of diverting young people off the streets and become more meaningfully engaged in their communities, the Service has now greatly expanded to encompass a range of holistic family intervention services working with children and their families affected by multiple adversities.
We are looking for enthusiastic, resourceful and experienced Relief Family Support Worker's to join our team. This role will entail a combination of individual family support work and also supporting the wider team with our group delivery program.
The post holder will be required to be an essential car user and hold at least the basic qualifications of an HNC and SVQ in social care. This service hours are As and When to suit the needs of the service and will require you to be flexible and may involve weekend work.
