Housing Support Nightshift Worker - Glasgow

Glasgow High Support service works with young people aged between 16 years and 25 years who have been either previously Looked after and Accommodated, or have had intensive social work involvement. Our aim is to offer a high quality intensive support service to vulnerable young people whose needs cannot be met by other types of accommodation.

We are looking to recruit a part time Nightshift Housing Support Worker support our service.

The overall aim is to provide young people with the skills and confidence to move on to more independent accommodation taking into account the recognition that as a consequence of young people’s life experience including trauma, and any resultant behavioural issues which arise from this, that the transition for them is likely to be more challenging.

You will be responsible when on shift for the running of the service; maintain standards of housekeeping and ‘home care’ by encouraging and participating in ‘teamwork’ and ‘house-sharing’ with other staff and young people.
