PATHS is a universal evidence-based programme which enhances the social and emotional outcomes of primary school children. The role of Barnardo’s is to support schools, principals and teachers with specific training and ongoing coaching and support to ensure that the Programme is implemented with fidelity and on a whole-school basis

We have an opportunity for a Programme Co-Ordinator who will work with the Programme Manager to plan, review and develop the programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day provision of the programme to the agreed standards. You will also support the manager in providing professional leadership to members of the programme delivery team.

Essential Requirements for this role are:

  • Recognised professional teaching qualification and registered with the relevant professional body

  • Knowledge of statutory and good practice requirements in the field of provision

  • Awareness of factors impacting on and issues facing children, young people and families living in areas of high disadvantage

  • A PVG check is also a requirement for this post.

  • Funded until 05/08/18 but anticipated programme of work beyond this date.

Work will normally be performed during business hours, Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. However, to meet the needs of the service there will be a requirement for occasional evening or weekend work
