Project Worker 2- Aberdeen

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and creative practitioner to join Barnardo's within our Young Carers Service in Aberdeen City. We are looking for someone who has knowledge and skills to work alongside our dedicated team to help deliver a service which will meet the needs of young carers locally. It is our aim to ensure that young carers have a fulfilled life alongside caring.

Within this role you will be responsible for maintaining contact with young carers and their families by providing support on a 1:1 basis, through group work, completing young cares statements, delivering training to a wide range of professionals, securing funding to support young carers and raising the profile of young carers both locally and nationally. Knowledge about young people's participation and co-production of service design and delivery is desirable. We offer the opportunity for hybrid working (a mix of office based and home based) in line with current COVID 19 guidelines.

The post holder must have a current driving licence. Evening and weekend working will be required.
