Project Worker 2 - Fife

Barnardo's Stronger Families service is one of five Barnardo's services offering a range of supports to children and families in the Fife locality. The service is commissioned by Fife Council and an exciting opportunity has arisen to join this established team who use Attachment and Trauma Informed Practice models of working to deliver services to families with children aged 0-13 years of age in the Fife area.

Do you have experience of working with vulnerable children and families and a working knowledge of attachment theories in practice?

You will be required to deliver direct services to families who have complex needs and are at risk of family breakdown and the children being removed.

Caseloads will be low but you will be expected to work intensively with families to achieve agreed outcomes for the family.

We are looking for 2 Project workers (I x Fixed Term 1 Year and 1 Permanent ) who are enthusiastic about family support and can demonstrate an ability to build good working relationships with families and partner agencies. This is an exciting time to be joining the service as it looks to grow the team and develop the recommendations from The Promise into practice.
