Linksfield is a long-term residential home for up to 6 young people. The Service provides care and support to young people up to the age of 21 who have often experienced a range of challenges and adversity.

Within this safe context, Linksfield creates opportunities for young people to develop their life skills and social interests. We advocate on behalf of young people to access appropriate education, and support further education, training options and employment opportunities.

Project Workers undertake a professional role of safeguarding and promoting the rights and well-being of children and young people and providing care and support to enable children and young people to develop their full potential. Using theories of human behaviour, child development, relational practice and trauma informed care, our practitioners provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which children/young people can feel secure and free from harm. Establishing positive relationships with young people and always offering them unconditional and positive regard.

We are looking for responsible, friendly, and caring individuals who have a passion for caring for and ultimately, making a difference to young people's lives. It will be a challenging yet rewarding role with the opportunity to see the young people develop through time. We need practitioners who can work well within a team, have great communication skills, can manage their workload, and be prepared for the varying challenges the role may present.

This role involves shift work, including sleep-ins and weekend working on a rota basis.
