Divisional Valuer
Pay Scale G11 (£47,760 to £49,238)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Chartered Surveyor with significant experience in valuation for Rating and Council Tax purposes together with an excellent working knowledge of the law and practice of valuation for Rating and Council Tax.
You will be required to manage, direct and co-ordinate a Valuation Team to ensure timeous delivery of the team on behalf of the Assessor and will therefore need to have the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfil that role.
As a member of the Operational Management Team you will be required to attend Management Team meetings and contribute to the development and improvement of the service.
You will also be appointed as a Depute Assessor in terms of Section 27 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1994.
