Children’s Hearings Scotland (CHS) exists to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in Scotland by recruiting, training and supporting 3,000 volunteer Panel and Area Support Team members.

We are looking for two exceptional administrators to join our Business Support Team, working closely with and in support of CHS’ national team, Board and Volunteer Community by providing a robust and proactive administration service. By enhancing our existing Business Support team, you will help our organisation to achieve its ambitious strategic plans.

You are an enabler! Demonstrating a positive and friendly approach, you use your initiative to seek out opportunities to support your national team colleagues and other key stakeholders in meeting their work challenges and to improve administrative processes. As a highly motivated and well-organised individual you will demonstrate your ability to multi-task and meet competing demands. As a self-starter, you will be able to work independently and confidently but you will also be an excellent team player who thrives on working with and supporting others to achieve their goals.

In addition to providing generalist admin support, you will also be designated on a rotational basis to particular teams and functions, in order to build up your specialist administration knowledge. A demonstrable solid experience of providing PA, Human Resources, Governance and/or Finance administration support will be particularly advantageous for this role.

Applications must be made through CHS’ website where you will find further information and an application pack. CVs are not accepted.

*Note: Appointment is normally made on the minimum step of the salary band.

Closing date: Monday 9th March 2020 at 12:00 noon. Applications received after this time will not be considered.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held on w/c 16th March 2020.
