Senior Engineer

We are a team of friendly Engineers and we seek to welcome you to join our small but growing team.

Transport Planning and Engineering (TP&E) is a sustainable travel transport consultancy specialising in cycle infrastructure projects built for the end users.

Established by Cycling Scotland, our vision is for Scotland to have an accessible multi-modal transport network that meets the needs of all users and in which cycling and walking are positive travel and leisure choices rather than secondary considerations.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to assist the Head of TP&E in managing a small team of Engineers, developing and overseeing the delivery of innovative and high-quality active travel infrastructure designs and participate in quality assurance processes. Projects include rural and urban cycle routes, structures and road based design schemes throughout Scotland, working to the latest design standards and recognising worldwide best practice. Contact with a variety of different clients and funders makes this a varied and satisfying organisation to join allowing expansion of skills and knowledge in many different directions.

This is a key role within a thriving and developing team and is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Engineer who is looking for their next challenge.

Please read the job description available on our website for full details.
