Fit For Health Development Officer

We are looking for someone with excellent project management skills, who has experience of leading a team and who is passionate about physical activity and the positive difference it can make on health and wellbeing.

You will be responsible for the citywide delivery, development, and evaluation of one of our largest Active Communities projects. Delivered by an enthusiastic team of specialist health instructors our Fit for Health programme supports people living with a long-term condition to be active to improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.

Experience of working with health partners and community-based organisations to promote and deliver physical activity programmes for people experiencing health conditions and inequalities is also desirable. Full-Time - 35.75 hours per week, Permanent, Based at Meadowbank Sports Centre but required to work at venues across Edinburgh, £27,489 per annum
