Fife Centre for Equalities (FCE) is a registered charity, dedicated to the promotion, support, training and advocacy of equality, diversity, and inclusion with the aim of making Fife a more equal and fairer place to live, work and study.

We are seeking a Chief Executive with the experience, knowledge and credibility in the equality, diversity, inclusion, and human rights arena to continue to lead and drive forward the work of FCE.

As Chief Executive, you will lead and manage a small team of staff and volunteers in the delivery of strategic and operational objectives, shaping and implementing plans, monitoring and reporting progress, and maintaining effective systems and structures. You’ll manage and maintain the budget, grant applications and other funding, ensuring adherence to strong financial controls. You’ll ensure FCE fulfils all its legal, statutory and regulatory responsibilities in the management of charity resources, and you’ll provide advice, support and performance reports to the Board of Trustees. You will be a strong leader, a forward-thinker and have the skills to deliver a broad portfolio, firmly establishing FCE as a centre of excellence for equality and inclusion.

For an informal discussion on the position, please contact Lee Ryan, Chair of the Board of Trustees, by email: lcryan70@gmail.com.

This post is funded by Fife Council till 31 March 2024.
