Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, support and coaching to Venue Managers regarding the day to day management and operation of the facilities.
  • Lead and motivate your team to deliver high standards of performance and achievement at all times, providing ongoing coaching and mentoring
  • Support the reshaping of how we deliver services at the front line, effecting budget savings, rationalising the asset base, and developing alternative service delivery options and plans which improve efficiency and effectiveness throughout the business
  • Establish efficient and effective working relationships with Fife Council officers to ensure excellent working practices between the two organisations for all operational matters, including property management, fleet services and health and safety.
  • Implement the organisation’s Health and Safety policies and ensure that all staff across the venues are well trained and actively adhering to Health and Safety procedures.

Requirements

You will hold a diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field or have significant experience equivalent to the above. You will also be required to have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate the following:

1. Leadership experience in an operational role, including venue operations, commercial knowledge, people management and the delivery of high quality customer services with an understanding of Health & Safety processes

2. Strong people and team management skills tied with excellent interpersonal skills and a confident manner when negotiating and influencing people.

3. A creative and innovative approach to problem solving
