Job Description
To manage, grow and develop the company’s Leisure Active Membership, the company’s sales and membership scheme.
Lead, coach and mentor your team and front-line staff including gym staff in selling the benefits of the membership packages on offer.

Requirements
Educated to HND level or equivalent
Full UK Drivers Licence and own transport for which HMRC travel allowance will be paid
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure certificate through Disclosure Scotland
Responsibilities
To ensure that you maximise value for money for our customers, grow sales, drive retention and reduce attrition rates by selling the most appropriate memberships and the benefits of physical activity
To manage, mentor and develop a sales team
Train all front-line staff to up sell the membership to current users
Work with the Marketing team to design and develop annual marketing and publicity campaigns
Develop a strategic annual sales plan setting out goals and targets for self and team
Increase the number of corporate membership sales
Develop and produce KPI’s for the 14 participating facilities
Develop seasonal memberships to cater for training opportunities
Work with the Business Support Co-ordinator to ensure that Financial Governance is adhered to within the terms, conditions and payment for the scheme
Monitor and report to the Head of Sales & Commercial Devlopment the sales plans and corporate campaigns.
The Individual
Substantial experience in sales within the sport and leisure facilities.
Working in an intense target led environment
Experience of supervising, supporting and directing a sales team
Responding to customer requests and complaints
Ability to set and prioritise objectives, respond under pressure and manage challenging deadlines.
Knowledge of fitness/physical activity and the personal benefits it brings.
Data protection and confidentiality.
