The Data Specialist will act as a technical specialist to the Communications, Digital Services and Human Resources department (CDSHR). You will provide technical support to the roll out of a CRM system, including evaluating existing databases, analysing and verifying data, data mapping and managing data migration; facilitate the organisation’s data reporting and visualisation tools (including CRM dashboards and Power BI), creating custom solutions and preparing new reports as required for data held in the Register of Teachers database and other GTC Scotland systems; Ensure the Register of Teachers database is accurate, accessible, secure and compliant with data protection regulations at all times; Use specialist knowledge and analytical skills to provide advice and input to Senior Managers.
