Education Engagement Officer

The Education Engagement Officer will be part of the Education Team leading on partnership & engagement strategies for key GTC Scotland national and internal policy initiatives. Within that team they will have responsibility for proactively developing and enhancing engagement with partners across Scottish Education to support and develop teacher professionalism and the professional learning for all teachers.

The Director of Education, Registration & Professional Learning has overall strategic oversight for the Education Team.

This is a new role for GTC Scotland and will be an exciting opportunity for a knowledgeable educator with demonstrated experience in forming and sustaining engagement in partnerships to be involved in shaping the organisation’s engagement strategies. We anticipate that the role will evolve and adapt over time.
