The Grampian Assessor & Electoral Registration Officer is looking for an experienced IT professional with proven hands-on experience in the use of Oracle Database and associated tools including Oracle Forms and Reports.

You will be working in a small team supporting in-house Oracle systems development and on-going systems maintenance. Good communications skills are required. You must display initiative in undertaking day-to-day duties, have the ability to work flexibly as part of a team and operate with the minimum of supervision. You must have good organisational skills and show the ability to prioritise workloads.

Applicants should ideally hold a Degree/Diploma in Computing or a related discipline, or have extensive practical experience.

The post comes with the benefit a valuable pension scheme, flexible working hours and 34 days annual leave (including public holidays) rising to 38 days after 5 years’ service. A relocation package of up to £5,400 + VAT is available to assist anyone requiring to move to Grampian to take up this position.
