Applicants should be Chartered Surveyors (F/MRICS) with experience in the valuation of residential and/or commercial property and those with sufficient experience will be offered a salary within the higher range quoted above.

Applicants should be computer literate and have excellent communication and team working skills together with an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach to work.
The successful applicant will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Grampian this is normally undertaken by use of a car. Annual leave may be restricted during certain times of the year such as election and revaluation periods. You may be required to work additional hours during busy periods, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Whilst the posts are normally office based, our staff are currently enabled for hybrid home/office working in line with the Scottish Government’s Covid-19 guidelines.
