Job title: Youth Volunteering Development Co-ordinator
Salary: £24,000-£26,000 pro rata for 0.5 FTE
Based at: Flexible but travel to Edinburgh, Glasgow, North Lanarkshire and North Ayrshire required
Travel: Travel required across the areas in which Impact Arts operates, primarily Glasgow, Edinburgh, North Ayrshire, North Lanarkshire
Duration of contract: Fixed term until to end March 2023 with possibility of extension dependent upon funding
Working Hours: 18.75 hours/ week
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential
- Qualified to SCQF Level 9 in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in developing and establishing best practice volunteer recruitment, support and retention strategies
- Experience in recruiting and developing volunteer opportunities within a 3rd sector organisation
- Experience of working to support those with protected characteristics
Desirable
- Experience of working with, or supporting, young people in paid or volunteer positions
- Minimum of two years’ experience in working with young people within diverse community settings
- Experience and understanding of working with young people with protected characteristics
