Senior Business Analyst
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Local Government Digital Office. This post is fully funded for 2 years in collaboration with the Scottish Government Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Programme and will work as part of the Local Government Digital Office. The role will support both the Analogue to Digital Telecare Programme and the exciting new arena of developing the benefits realisation programme for digital services for the Scottish Local Government.
You will be expected to hit the ground running, working in agile multi-disciplinary team environments, focused on Scottish Local Government digital transformation of its services.
You will have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a proven track record in user & business research. You will be adept at weighing up evidence from various (and potentially conflicting) sources, and have a flair for devising innovative and creative approaches to generating new user evidence.
You will be experienced in using a variety of user research methodologies to reveal actionable insights and build a rich picture of customers and other user groups. You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to quickly develop recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative evidence. You will need to be confident in explaining user needs to colleagues, and acting as a persuasive advocate for those needs both within the team and the department at large.
This position is fixed term for 24 months, 36 hours per week. The role will be home based/agile working with the requirement to travel throughout Scotland.
