To provide administrative support to the L&D section and be the first, and main, point of contact for employees and line managers, providing information and guidance on a range of L&D related matters.

Main Duties:

· Creation of processes and systems to ensure the service is delivered to a high standard

· Careful planning, scheduling and coordination of tasks

· Record and monitor all course completion

· Update training records

· Advertise training events and coordinate attendance

· Provide quarterly statistical updates to managers

· Provide monthly statistical updates to L&D manager

· Liaise with staff regarding training requirements

· Book training venues and any catering requirements

· Provide support to trainers preparing for course delivery

· Support to deliver special internal events

· Update training and promotional materials

· Provide support to staff to access the Kibble Learning Management System

· Other ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential
  • Previous experience within the care/voluntary sector is desirable
  • IT proficient with experience of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel and Outlook Express, Powerpoint

· Qualified to HNC/SVQ 3 level in Administration or equivalent is preferred

· Good communication skills with an excellent understanding of English grammar and spelling

· The ability to prioritise and manage deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
