About the role
It won’t come as a surprise that our seasonal jobs are during our busy summer months. There are a variety of positions available, but each one will play a part in delivering our key message “leave no trace”. Our seasonal jobs are available from June until September (maximum contract length is 16 weeks).
We are looking for individuals who have excellent people skills, are enthusiastic about the outdoors and passionate about the countryside to join our team of Seasonal Rangers.
All posts are primarily visitor management focused and support our work managing visitor related pressures and ensuring all visitors to the National Park have a fantastic experience. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate the following:
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills
- A positive and flexible attitude.
- Experience of visitor management or work in a customer focused role.
- Knowledge of and interest in the environment and countryside issues

Positions Available:
Visitor Management / Slipway (4 posts) – on average 35 hours a week
Bank (4 posts) – casual working contract
Salary:
A1 – (Pending a pay award)
Working Hours:
Visitor Management / Slipway work every weekend and a mixture of normal, mid and late shifts
Start Location:
Visitor Management / Slipway – Duncan Mills Memorial Slipway
Bank – Balmaha, Callander or Lochearnhead
